London Fashion Week Festival - Part 2

Channeled my inner Prince and laughed in the purple rain!

Here it is! The last day of fashion madness in London, this season!

It's been amazing but I must confess, I can't wait to go back to work! No matter how much I try I can't deactivate my workaholic mode when there are so many things going on...and my daily planner is already wondering if we've broken up...

Anyhow...back to LFWF!

Storm Doris and storm Ewan did cause a bit of a chaos but I refused to let them mess up the last few days in my soul city.

So what better way to rebel against, than starting and ending the day in skyscrapers?!

Before going to the show I met up with my friend Ana, for brunch, at Oxo Tower Brasserie.

Even on a cloudy day, this city makes me smile. I could sit and admire it all day long, but it was time  for some 'serious' business.

We're back to the soon to be launched Pleats Please collection, by yours truly.

And for reasons mentioned above and the absolutely gorgeous color of this new design, 'Purple Rain' seems to have been that day's soundtrack.

There are many ways to wear that coat. The waist ruffles are detachable, it comes with an extra and more simple belt that you can use instead, it has two rows of buttons ...I'll show you all the tricks after the lookbook comes out!

As for the va voom, right?

I hope that the people standing behind me at Huishan Zhang's catwalk show thought so too.

And what a show that was!

Loved every minute of it and every outfit. You can see the passion and talent in every detail.

Huishan Zhang was born in Qingdao,China. After leaving his hometown at 17, Huishan spent time in New Zealand and Paris, before moving to London where he studied at the prestigious Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. During his studies, Zhang was hand picked to spend his third year working in the House of Dior – Paris.

Huishan has mapped out his signature style, finding inspiration and direction through his national identity. Creating a luxurious brand where Eastern heritage meets Western influences, his collections create a romantic, sophisticated and ageless philosophy with feminine details, strong lines and directional design.

On my way out I stopped at Talk: Maybelline New York Neil Young Masterclass and stole some tips and tricks on how to get that perfect statement smokey eye that we've kept on seeing on the runways lately.

Next LFWF I will plan my days in such a way that I can attend more talks. Even if you work in hair & make-up, or you're an inspiring fashion editor, designer or entrepreneur, there will be a talk for you, that might just light up some bulbs above your head.

The day was coming to an end.

Hey, Shard! You, way up there! I heard you have an amazing view and great drinks... that is what I call a great 'The End'!

Outfit of the day: NITA SAO coat, NITA SAO hat, H&M pants, ASOS boots, Atmosphere backpack;
